I learnt that no one will live my dream for me,
I learnt that I am different and no one sees things the way I see,
I learnt that I can't change anyone for better or worse,
I learnt that that hurts
I learnt that no matter how much i want something, sometimes its just not meant to be,
I learnt that when I make a mistake, instead of being stubborn, its okay to be sorry,
I learnt that nothing stays the same,
I learnt that running too fast can make me lame,
I learnt that, sometimes I can do the most absurd things in the world,
I learnt that there is more to life than what's seen or heard,
I learnt that everyone is special in their own way,
I learnt that its nourishing to forgive a person everyday,
I learnt that I could hurt my soul in many ways,
I learnt that I could cure that by listening to my heart,
I learnt that there is great strength within,
I learnt that it becomes weaker with every sin,
I learnt that I need to learn a lot more, so I take the right steps,
I learnt that between an event and my reaction there are time gaps,
I learnt that that gap is my choice,
I learnt that if I think it out, I always rejoice,
I learnt that its important to bridge dreams to reality,
I learnt that the way to do that is to work hard and pray with serenity,
I learnt that in my humble moments I love all I have known,
I learnt that I am for the unique experience they have sown,
I learnt that its like been born again if I forgive myself,
I learnt that I couldn't do that without Allah's help,
I learnt that my family is precious and means the world to me,
I learnt that this world, too, is my family,
I learnt that its hard to see your promises break,
I learnt that I should learn to keep my promises for other's sake,
I learnt that it hurts to disappoint loved ones,
I learnt I should resign as the world's representative...for once,
I learnt that its not enough to yearn....
